“Door only had latch. Rampant homelessness wandering parking lot, behind dumpsters, adjacent abandoned properties. Pee in toilet upon arrival. Mud on white comforters. Burn holes in blankets. Musty wet/smokey smell to room. Patched holes in ceilings and walls. Major disrepair. No amenities. No hairdryer, iron, coffee station.”

“Well kept clean property. Breakfast and coffee were excellent. Had snacks for the early morning guests that were heading to the Balloon Festival. Only issue the charging ports for phones did not work well at all.”

“We had a wonderful stay! This was a last minute reservation with no regrets. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. We had some travel plan difficulties and Damen stepped in quickly to assist us. We can say enough how much we appreciate his help. The cocktails in the bar were great! We would definitely stay again. The Balloon Fiesta was happening and we had exceptional views from our room!”

“Having the pool is a game changer for me. If they added a hot tub that would be really welcome so we would have it in the winter while the pool is closed, Nov-April? Property has been in the family since the 80’s and recently “retrofitted” to the glory days of Rt66. Great owner and staff. The Speakeasy type cocktail lounge has great DJ music or live performances most nights. Be aware there is no food service in the bar so eat dinner before you come home for the night. Very convenient for me as……
